The Berkshire Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Chip Zellner, is known for playing great classic big band music. This 17-piece ensemble maintains the tradition of a true jazz orchestra featuring many creative soloists from within each section, performing in the format which connects audiences to the sonic power of a true, Live BIG BAND. They have performed in NY, CT, and MA.
Note: this will be an OUTDOOR concert. Bring seating and a picnic. The performance will be canceled in case of rain.

The Cafe Brazil Band, featuring Steven Silverstein on clarinet and Peter Griggs on guitar and vocals, performs popular music of Brazil including bossa nova and choro, the most popular style of music in Brazil from 1900 to 1930’s. Silverstein and Griggs are both native New Yorkers and veteran musicians with extensive experience in classical music, jazz and world music. Silverstein has recorded albums, film scores and toured internationally with numerous orchestras and theaters. Griggs is an accomplished composer and guitarist who presented some 600 solo guitar concerts worldwide.

Benesori Quartet: Khullip Jeung - violin, Jisun Kang - violin, Mitsuru Kubo - viola, and Gloria Kim - cello, will perform a repertoire of classical music.

The Cosmos Piano Duo, Yuka Yanagi and Kai Pangune Kim, specializes in performing uplifting and well-known pieces such as opera overtures, symphonies, rhapsodies and dances with touches of their own dazzling arrangements. They have performed at the Steinway Piano Gallery, Richter Arts Association, Fort Lee Public Library and various fundraising salon concerts including benefit concerts for educating under privileged children.

Soprano Kate Kyunghee Kim, Oboist Rachael Ahn and Pianist EunJung Ahn, will bring a delightful musical journey from Bach to Montsalvatge to the Richter House.

DizzyFish is a Connecticut band that performs a show called The Best of the 70s. They have been selling out theaters in Connecticut since 2019. The show features the timeless songs of artists like Neil Young, The Beatles, Van Morrison, The Rolling Stones, CSN, John Denver, The Eagles, James Taylor, Bob Seger, America, Cat Stevens, Elton John, Eric Clapton & More!! DizzyFish, led by Eric Herbst includes band members Jon Saxon (Saxophone), Roger Post (Drums), John Zanella (Bass), Josh Sette (Keyboards).

The Catoonah Street Jazz and Blues Society will bring the sound of New Orleans style Jazz to Danbury. They have been performing for more than 20 years, spreading happiness and joy through their music.
