Sale of Art works

Richter Arts is pleased to offer for sale by silent auction a collection of art works by well-known local artists, including Ed Anderson, Lilian Garber, Betty Christianson, Philip Kappel, and others.

The artwork includes paintings, prints and sculpture given to Mort & Millie Siegel by the artists. Mort & Millie, who passed away a few years ago, were two of the original founders of Richter Arts back in the 1970's. They also worked at the News Times during that time. Their son, Joseph, has donated these pieces to Richter Arts and all the money raised will benefit the association.

An Opening  Reception and Start of the Sale will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 2  - 4 p.m. The sale will continue on Sunday, Sept. 15 and Sunday, Sept.  22 from 1 - 3 p.m. at which time the auction will be closed.  (Performances will take place from 3 - 4 p.m.).

The highest  bidders will be notified and payment for the artwork will be received  from 2 - 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29 at which time the artwork can be  picked up.

The artworks for sale will be displayed at the House and bids may be entered via the clipboards provided. All of the pieces have been refurbished and are in excellent condition.

Images of some of the works for sale appear below.
